Getting 'Restricted Unique Value' Error when syncing contacts to SFDC

Hey all, 

 

I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue that popped up in Hubspot as I was doing our first bulk lead import from a recent in-person event. 

 

I have over 1k contacts segmented into specific lists that I am importing into Hubspot. But, before I import all the contacts I stress tested the system to see if I got any errors and well, I did. 

 

I'm getting a 'Restricted Unique Value' error thrown at me specifically related to the Hubspot Score field. We previously mapped Hubspot Score to 'Lead Score' which is a custom field we create in SFDC. 

 

That said, none of the contacts are syncing due to an error with those fields syncing with each other, I think.

 

Any insight as to what might be going on would be great. I have already tried to google the issue and soluiton but haven't found any resources addressing this issue.

Ok, 

 

I solved my own problem for any that might come accross this issue in the future I thought I would share the soluiton. 

 

In this case, the issue was with the way the field was created in Salesforce. The fild was set to unique and to not allow duplicates. Since the field is a lead score field and is meant to keep track of contacts ongoing engagment with the company and assign a value to that, keeping the field unique was blocking any and all other contacts that shared similar values from being imported into Salesforce. 

 

All we had to do was go into the custome field and uncheck the box "unique' and go back into Hubspot to re-sync the contacts and the issue was resolved.
