Detecting when contact change company

SOLVE

Hi there,

Is there a way to detect when contact change company via Hubspot? I tried integrating the LinkedIn Sales Navigator, but it doesn't work. Is there another integration or tip to do that? In my ideal scenario, I'd receive an Hubspot alert every time a contact changes company.

Thanks a lot

Hi @TheaDenolyubova,

Looking at the Email hard bounce reason = "Unknown user" is a pretty good indicator (if you're sending marketing emails to your contacts on a regular basis). When contacts change company, their inboxes are turned off, resulting in a hard bounce, usually with the response "Unknown user".

I'm not aware of any tools which would notify you automatically.

Best regards!

@TheaDenolyubova - you can do this with Kavo.ai. We keep your HubSpot account updated with current job info for all of your contacts based on live LinkedIn Data. We update outdated records, create new ones if they fit within your ICP, alert your team, and enrich the new data. Let me know if you'd like to learn more!

Thanks, Karsten

That's a good tip. I was just wondering if there is an automated option for that between LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Hubspot. It would be great if we could just have a Hubspot alert whenever a contact changes company on LinkedIn, wouldn'it? I think there was a similar option in Salesforce, but I'm not into that.

@TheaDenolyubova while that sounds like a wonderful functionality, I don't believe that exists between LinkedIn and HubSpot. At least not that I've seen.
