Activies/Timeline - sync to Tasks

I have read that Activities/Timeline can be linked/sync back to "Tasks" in Saleforce.

Can they be linked also back to another standard object like "Campaign member"

Activities/Timeline, are they just standard activity types or we can add to the stanadard activity list in Hubspot?

Need activites like Download agenda form, open email, donwload pdf on website, filled in a contacts up form and on each form options if interets in sponsorship opportunites and all these need to be linked to a specific event.
