I created a workflow. I want this workflow to only run if a sales rep manually adds a contact to the workflow. But, this morning I glanced at enrollees, and I'm seeing people in the workflow that I didn't add manually for testing.
My first step I currently have set to:
Contact enrollement trigger - Events that will trigger this workflow - Has completed: enrolled in workflow.
Is there something I'm doing wrong here or missing. Again, the only way that I want someone to go through this workflow is if they're manually enrolled in the workflow via a sales rep.
If you only want this workflow to run when someone manually enrolls a record into it, then you don't need any enrollment criteria at all. Simply remove them all (the enrollment criteria box should be empty) and turn the workflow on. It is now active and will accept manual enrolments.
Once you add enrollment criteria, the workflow will constantly check if there are any records that meet the criteria – in other words, it will do more than just accept manual enrollments.
Best regards!

I've found success in the past by setting a Static List as my enrollment trigger and having my Sales Reps add people to that list ("Campaign Automation List - Add To This"). This was useful at a time where I didn't want to give the Sales Reps automation access necessarily, but they needed to be able to enroll people.
Also some people have found it super-useful to see a really quick view of "Added To List Date" (especially thoes who are less comfortable delving into, or don't have access to, the "Automations" section).
Let me know if this works for you! 🙂
