Workflow doesn't seem to be working

Can anyone tell me why this workflow isn't working?

Hi @dwightbailey,

 

Gotcha – in your branch, simply add "OR Last ... date is unknown". That should do the trick for the first ever enrollment of the contact.

Can you share a bit more context? How are you testing, what are you expecting to happen, what is happening instead?

Workflow doesn't seem to be working

SOLVE

The workflow is to send a follow-up email to anyone that downloads something from the website IF they haven't been sent the email within the past 30 days.

 

1. a visitor to website downloads something (has to fill in form at first download)

2. this workflow should check if they were sent the follow-up email within the past 30 days OR never been sent one

3. if answer is yes, then wait 1 day and send them the follow-up email

4. apply a date stamp to a custom field that ensures they don't receive the same follow-up email within 30 days.

 

my feeling is the issue is the "or never" at point 2 - I haven't set this criteria in the workflow but I'd be glad iof you could confirm?
