Will Lead Score Assignment Workflow override manual lifecycle stages?

Hi all,

 

We are implementing a workflow that assigns a lifecycle stage of MQL to anyone who reaches a score of 100. Will the sales team be able to manually override this workflow if they set them as an SQL, or if they are marked an SQL in Salesforce? Or, if the workflow is turned all will all contacts above 100 be set as SQL no matter what?

The way Life Stages stages work is once you progress further down the funnel you can't go backwards. So, once a lead reaches or is set to an SQL from an MQL you can't set it back regardless if you have a workflow created with the criteria you've mentioned - unless you first clear the Lifecycle stages or manually change it at the contact level.
