Why is my leads list smaller than my import file list?
SOLVE
I am working in Marketing Events attempting to upload leads from a recent conference. I prepared my import file and mapped all of the appropriate fields prior to uploading into Hubspot (adding the attended date to denote the time of our interaction).
However, after the import concluded, I noticed that the number of contacts created/updated did not match the total number imported (see screenshot below for reference):
In my previous experience with importing event lists, the total from "New Records" and "Updated Records" combine to equal the total "Import Rows".
When I set up the file for import, I selected the check box not to override existing data for each mapped field.
I'm uncertain why there is such a discrepancy between the two totals and would appreciate any and all input for finding a resolution.

@AHarring This is because you selected not to override the existing values. So, during the import process, the value in your import file was either identical to the existing value in HubSpot OR was a different value and as you had selected "do not override existing data" for that specific field, so hubspot processed that row but skipped updating that field for that particular record.

If you choose not to override existing data for mapped fields in HubSpot, any contacts that already exist won't have their information updated. As a result, some records may not appear as "updated."
