I used to be able to set up annually recurring, automated birthday workflows. When I selected the Birthdate custom property, it would give me an option to select "recur annually".
Where did that option go?
I can't set up Birthday emails without it.
Attached is my current workflow.
Without the "recur annually" option, the workflow only sends to people who were born in 2023 or in the future.
If you want to achieve what you described, it doesn't make sense to follow the HubSpot recommendation pop-up here. You would have to set up the workflow as I explained in my previous reply if you want it to be yearly recurring.
Re-enrollment based on a date property does not achieve the same thing.

If you select based on a date property, where you select the date in the workflow itself there is a checkbox option to have the workflow recur annually.
You know what, I just figured it out. I have been using the "select a date" to build the workflow (I just did it the other way as an example above).
However, I've been selecting the "Delay Until Date" option. (see attached video). Apparently this is new functionality that doesn't work in any way I'd assume it does.
When I disregard that feature, it shows the Specify A Date.
