Whatsapp Workflow Error Message

I have a problem when trying to send a message via WhatsApp from a workflow, when submitting the form that triggers the workflow it gives me the following error: "This contact has not subscribed to receive marketing messages via WhatsApp".

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

 

The ability to send WhatsApp messages is based on the WhatsApp Subscription. In this case, the contact hasn't been specified and WhatsApp data privacy does not allow you to message contacts who have not specified an opt-in status for WhatsApp notifications.

 

I wanted to refer you to the snippet in this help article,  "You can send WhatsApp messages to contacts who opt in using the workflows tool. Once a contact opts in, you can set up a workflow that uses one of your WhatsApp message templates. To learn more about collecting and managing consent for WhatsApp conversations, check out this help article.
