Uploading leads from excel to hubspot - and not all copying across for a campaign

SOLVE

We exhibited an event and we used their scanner tool for all leads.

The leads were downloaded to an xls and CSV - however, when I uploaded the 800 leads, only 400 something copied across

I didnt have any errors - and I have deleted and tried again twice.

Any answers or help?

Hi @ABhamra ,

Are you certain that the other 400 didn't already exist in your database?  This seems like the most likely explanation since HubSpot will not create new contacts if the email address already exists in the system for another contact.

When you do your import, be sure to choose "Create and Update Contacts," so your existing contacts get the benefit of the refreshed data, and also you can create a smart list for these contacts using the "Import Membership" filter to validate all of the contacts in your database that were members of the import.
