Testing workflows with one test user and different scenarios

SOLVE

Hi everyone,

I'd like to thank in advance if you have time to answer my question.

We are actually working on workflows. We would like to make the tests with one test user but different scenario.

Have you worked on this issue before ? Could you share me your experiences ?

Regards,

Hi @SamNguyen

If you enable re-enrollment on your workflow (How to test your workflow) even temporarily, you will be able enrol the same test contact multiple times.

You would then have to change the properties on that contact before re-enrolling them each time to have them test different branches or smart content versions of your workflow.

Hope this helps.

Hi @SamNguyen

Yes, it's possible. You just have to make sure, you have turned on the "re-enrollment" (in starting condition) while setting up the workflows.

Thanks!

Hi, Phil

I saw your answer and wanted clarification. What properties do you need to change each time you re-enroll? I have tried the simple re-enroll with my sample contact (me) and it automatically just says that I already did the action. Is there something I need to reset in the test contact? Many thanks if you can help, and Happy Holidays!
