Start leadnurture process when there are no sales activities
SOLVE
Hi,
We've made a lead nurture flow based on clicks in a mail. When someone doesn't click she recieves a reminder mail 4 days after the initial mail. In the meantime some sales activities start and there might even be contact already. We would like to filter these contacts out of the workflow so that they don't recieve the reminder mail.
We've tried several rules based on "sales activities" and task status but these seem all to be unreliable. At least things happen that we didn't expect 😉
Who has made workflows like these based on activities that are reliable? Or any suggestions to make them more solid?
My recommendation is to use a suppression list. You can create a property that adds them to the suppression list that is manually changed by the rep or alternatively add them to the suppression list based on other data points associated with the contact record.
This should be more reliable than adding those criteria in the workflow itself.
