I have a workflow set up for an event with several emails tied to it. The workflow has a delay set until one week before the event, then an email to remind that the event is a week out.
We are now past that date, and the event is several days away, but people that enter the workflow are still being sent that email.
How can I skip steps in the workflow when leads enter after a specific date?
When you set up a delay until a date, check this box:
You will then get a branch:
Contacts arriving at the branch before the date will go down the left one (which could be used for a reminder), contacts arriving at the branch after will go down the right one (which could stay empty).
