Shopify pre-built Re-engagement Flow - include customers who have never purchased?

Hi, anyone know if the pre-built Shopify Re-engagement flow includes customers who have never purchased?

 

The Re-engagement flow is targeting lapsed customers who have not purchased in 60 days. 

 

I did some quick spot checking and it looks like the majority of the list does not include customers who have never purchased. Anyone know for sure? Thanks!

Short A: n/a

 

Longer A:

One would think that a contact who has never purchased doesn't meet the basic qualification for customer stage (in HubSpot). That being said, your question is still valid due to the criteria used to trigger these customer re-engagement sends.

 

Shopify-integrated-HubSpot takes its queues for triggering the Shopify pre-built HubSpot Customer Re-engagement workflow from a combination of enrollment criteria.

Therefore, under normal circumstances (barring any Shopify customizations that interfere with the HubSpot integration), the answer is no. The Shopify pre-built HubSpot Customer Re-engagement workflow should never send to any contact who doesn't meet the criteria shown above.


If you need to verify this functionality, you may export a list of HubSpot contacts who meet these criteria and compare those to a list exported from the Shopify Sales by Customer Name report for the same period.

This comparison may be of particular value to Shopify store owners who have concerns over Shopify customizations interfering with the HubSpot integration. Never a bad idea to be overly cautious about what marketing emails we're sending to our customers.
