Replacing one workflow with another and retaining contacts in the old workflow

Does anyone know best practise for replacing an old workflow with a new one where contacts enrolled in the original aren't lost until they complete the workflow?

Will deleting the triggers in the old workflow remove the contacts?

Thanks

@WMaughan deleting the triggers will not remove contacts currently in the workflow. They can stay and finish the workflow. Also, in workflow settings, there's an option to remove (or not) contacts who no longer meet the criteris. So you can ensure in there that they'll stay.

Hey Dan

That's superhelpful and has worked a treat. New workflow published with the old one left to run with no trigger criteria anymore. Also found the do not remove setting.

Thanks so  much.
