Receiving email twice if on multiple mailing lists?

There are instances where we'll need to send the email to all the mailing lists. If someone is part of multiple mailing lists, will they receive that email twice?

Hi @JIgnacio2,

 

If you add multiple lists to one marketing email, HubSpot will deduplicate them. If a contact is on multiple lists, they'll receive the email only once.

If you're sending two emails (let's call them Email A and Email B) to two lists (List 1 and List 2) with the same person in both lists, then yes, they'd both get the email if they're on that list.

If you want to exclude them from a mailing, you can suppress them:
