Is it possible to use the page view filter to capture contacts who visit a .pdf page? For example, if the page were www.google.com but when you click on a link, it opens up this link www.google.com/xyz/abc.pdf so I want to track those who have visited the .pdf link. However, when I choose the page view filter, and use contains .pdf it doesn't pick up any contacts. Am I doing something wrong, or does it just not work that way?
Hey @jdv123 in the traditional sense of how HubSpot’s page view filter works (by tracking views of web pages with HubSpot tracking code installed) PDFs don’t execute tracking scripts, so they can’t be tracked as a page view.
Some workaround's: - Track the click event on the link to the PDF [Favourite] - Import those pdfs as documents to Hubspot they work as a charm to convert 🙂
