On any page condition of Form submission enrolment trigger

SOLVE

We currently have our existing website hosted within our CMS and our Blog within HubSpot. When I create a new enrolment trigger based on a Form submission, the sub-condition of which page that form was submitted from contains only HubSpot hosted pages.

Given that the HubSpot tracking script is on all web pages and we're using embedded forms, is there a way where this condition could be a simple URL instead?

Technically, there doesn't seem to be a reason to limit it to only the HubSpot hosted pages as surely the referrer could be used from the form submission.

Any views or guidance on this would be appreciated.

Hi @dbaggs

You are right that this isn't currently supported. Although HubSpot can report which external page a form was submitted on in the recent conversion property and in the contact's timeline, these pages can not be brought into HubSpot's lists of page for refining enrollment criteria.

The solution could be to adjust your form system to have one form per page or group of pages.

Hope this helps.

Hello @inigolekunberri it's not currently possible to segment contacts by form submission page for external pages at the moment.

If this external page has the HS tracking code installed, one option would be to use an AND filter for the >Page View is containing that URL, but the page view information captured can be variable (depending on the contact browser) for example.

I would highly recommend you to please post this idea at our ideas forum (here).

Our product team, who monitors the forum regularly, can read your specific use case and understand why this would be a useful functionality or change. It also helps other customers facing the same issue to advocate for its implementation on your behalf by upvoting on the thread as well.

Thank you,

Pam

Thanks @Phil_Vallender.

The group approach is indeed the way I'm going now even though there is some repetition in  the forms.

Many thanks,

Dan
