Non-HubSpot form - filtering into a list

SOLVE

Hi,

Currently have a Non-Hubspot form for a download on a WordPress site.

The form has two options: one for occasional mailing and one for just new revisions of the download.

When people are submitting, they are being entered into HubSpot fine, and are given a contact record which says if they've "checked" either of the options. However, ALL are being moved into a "Marketing" list we have set up. Regardless of what they've checked.

Wondered if anyone can help with this? I want them to be entered into two seperate lists ideally.

Non-HubSpot form - filtering into a list

Hi @SS011,

It sounds like your list is simply filtering for the form submission – not the field you have on the form.

The first step would be identifying the field name. You can do so by opening the form in HubSpot and looking at any submission: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/forms/analyze-form-submissions-data#individual-submissions

In that submission, you should see the name of the field – which you can then add to your list as a filter. https://knowledge.hubspot.com/lists/create-active-or-static-lists

Non-HubSpot form - filtering into a list

SOLVE

Hi Karsten,

I can't seem to see any field name.

I have clicked into the form and into view submissions when I click into one of the submissions, I can only see the contact record which shows the following:

yes opt into occasional mailing

Not Checked

this value wasn't passed to the contact record

I would like to only hear about new revisions

Checked

This value was not passed to the contact record

Email address

First name

Last name

I can't see any other information. Is this to do with my permissions, or the way in which the form has been added to the site?

Thanks in advance.
