Mass Export Lists

Hi,

New to Hubspot.  Is there a way to mass export many lists?  At present, I'm only seeing an option to export a list individually.

I think there is one way you can mass export multiple lists. By using views. Just create a view using the filter - List membership is any of ... and select all the lists that you need to export. Then export.

Do you know how to get the list name included in the columns displaying the contacts?  I want to export all of our contacts with list names associated to them.

Hi @NickV 

I understand the need for this. Good question! There is no direct way to do it. I encourage you to add this as an idea in the community. 

For now there is a workaround by which you can do it: 

1. Create a customer property named " List membership details". 

2. In a contact view, bulk edit the contacts of one list and set the list membership detail property to the list name. 

3. Once all your list names are added, continue to export all the lists from the view.

My use case is slightly different: As a super admin, is there a way to bulk export multiple lists at one time. The expected outcome would be a zip file with multiple lists EACH list as a an individual csv containing all the contact records.

Hi @NickV,

At this time there is no way to export multiple lists. Depending what you're looking to do, you may be able to export the entire contact database and use a custom property to easily get them back onto the lists. I'm not sure of the complexity of your lists, but if there are a lot this may not be feasible.

It's possible you'd have to create a custom property to help identify which lists they're on unless you've created the lists based on a property that already exists.

Thanks, Josh.  I'll see how these lists are set up.  We just acquired a company that also has Hubspot, and we're merging portals.  I'll have to see how they're lists are set up.
