Make easily visible who to send a Christmas card.

We want to make clear in hubspot which contacts we are going to send a christmas card this year. Is there a handy way to attach that attribute to these contacts/companies? So next year, we can pull that same information out of hubspot again and add/remove contacts/companies its just a matter of tikking a box.

Hi Karsten, Thanks it worked! I already have a list of contacts who will receive a christmas card in 2024. Is there an easy way that i can insert this list and have the box for 2024 automatically checked?

Sure @LLampe, the easiest way would be to open / filter for this list and then bulk edit: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/bulk-edit-records#edit-records-from-the-object-index-page

The first step would be creating a custom property for that: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/properties/create-and-edit-properties

If you want to think ahead, I'd recommend making this a multiple checkboxes property with options 2024, 2025, 2026 etc. You can then reuse this in coming years and also filter who received a card in the years before.

You can then place this in the left sidebar of contact records: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/customize-records

Lastly, on the contact index page, you can click 'Edit columns' to the right and make your new property visible as a column.
