List won't populate

Hi,  I am trying to create a static list using 2-3 filters.  When I begin the process the preview pane shows contacts. However when I click save it takes a few minutes and then says it cannot find any contacts to create the list.  (Even in the prview I feel like the number of hits is lower than I am expecting for my search criteria)

Anyonw else having this issue or knows a fix?

Hi @ycc-paul ,

This may sound silly - but have you tried navigating away from the individual list criteria page and then back into it? Sometimes there's a little delay and navigating away and then back populates the list.

If you've tried the above and it's still not working, I'd suggest reaching out to HubSpot support directly as it sounds like there mioght be a longer than normal delay or perhaps a bug.

I tried you solution and when I applied the search to one of my expected contacts it said the criteria were met.  However when I saved the list I got the message that the list was empty. Any other suggetsions?

Hi @ycc-paul ,

If you have an example of a contact who you know should meet the list criteria, I'd suggest saving the list and then testing the contact against the criteria you've set (instructions on how to do that here).

The preview of contacts who meet the criteria is just HubSpot's best guess/estimation, and doesn't accurately reflect the expeted final number of contacts in the list. I'd start with testing your list criteria against a contact/some contacts who you expect to see in the list as a jumping off point to make sure your list criteria is set up properly.
