Is it possible to enroll a Company in a workflow from the Company record?

We have a Company workflow built, and we want our users to be able to add a Company to that workflow from the Company record. Is that possible?

...and/or is it possible to add a Company to a list directly from the Company record?

This is currently not possible, at least not for company records. For contact records, this can be done from the right sidebar: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/manually-enroll-objects-into-workflows#enroll-from-a-contact...

If you want the product team to look into this for company records, I'd recommend submitting a request in the HubSpot Ideas section of the community: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Ideas/ct-p/ideas

(If this is about one specific workflow (or a limited list), you could use a custom property as a trigger. Let's say you have a custom company property called "Enroll company in workflow A". This would be a property of the type single checkbox. You could place it in the left sidebar and include it in the enrollment criteria of your workflow.)
