Impression-based CTAs

SOLVE

I'm looking for a way to unpublish CTAs based on the number of views (impressions). For example, when a CTA reached 1000, unpublish it. I realize this isn't possible natively within the CTA  administration, but I'm curious if there are options to develop a workflow that notifies me when the view threshold has been reached so I can manually unpublish the CTA.

Hey @TMathew! Thanks for your post. I am not aware of any way to be notified when CTA views hit a specific threshold. That said, you could use the custom report builder to report on CTA views (in Beta) and manually monitor this. Otherwise, you can already view summarized views of CTAs from the manage CTA view in HubSpot

I also would like to invite @danmoyle, @franksteiner79, and @karstenkoehler to see if y'all can add any additional insight into if it is possible to set up notifications based on CTA view counts.

Thanks!

Hi @TMathew - interesting question for sure. +1 to what @kennedyp offered - I'd use the beta/new CTA reporting in the Custom Report Builder. Here's what it looks like when you have the CTA name and view count, with "the last 365 days" as the filter.

From there you could email this report weekly to yourself to monitor - you could probably even add a filter for "views is greater than 900" to only show the CTAs getting close to that 1,000-views milestone. I don't see another way to create notifications.

Thanks @kennedyp @danmoyle! I think I'll go with custom CTA report to stay on top of those views.
