Hubspot scoring - guidelines

What are some best practices to give positive vs negative points for Hubspot Lead Scoring?

How many positive points should you give for form submissios, downloads, ...

Is there a 'default scoring' system available?

Any tips / resources are welcome.

Hey @Cronos

Personally, I've found that the smaller the lead score total the better it is to manage.  HubSpot also has a great writeup on some positive attributes you can use:  https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/lead-scoring-instructions

With an example setup here.

But for your question of negative attributes, I typically try to put in a decaying score.  Sends since last engagement goes up (4 is goal), last email open date is greater than X days, last activity date is greater than X days, etc.

Hope this helps!
