How to re-enroll contact into workflow each time a form is submitted

I need to send a Slack notification and do a few actions each time a form is submitted. I need this to happen even when the same contact submits a form again (they forgot o include details, etc.).

  • I have re-enrollment switched on:davidlazar_0-1685698690016.png
  • I have tens of submissions
  • They don't get enrolled the second time when they fill a form. If I enroll them manually then the workflow runs and I get a Slack notification and all the other actions.

This functionality is needed for a contact form, to monitor and action, each submission.

Hi @davidlazar,

Can you please share a screenshot of the entire re-enrollment settings? Simply enabling re-enrollment doesn't mean that re-enrollment will be triggered by the form submission, just that it is generally allowed.

In the re-enrollment settings you have to specifically select the form:

The options shown in the screenshot no longer apply. Something has changed as of early 2025.

I need the workflow to enroll the contact every time I submit the form. How do I set it up to this?

@garciapiano

  1. Click into the enrollment criteria box
  2. Select 'When filter criteria is met'
  3. Select 'Form submissions' and specify form
  4. Turn on re-enrollment in re-enrollment tab

Thanks Karsten, your screenshot pointed me in the right direction. I was using the BETA "When an event occurs" trigger with form submission, but that doesn't give you the re-enrolment option.

I've switched to the classic trigger type, selected my form as re-enrolment condition and everything is working as expected.

Hi David,

I have the same problem, how do you switch back to the classic trigger type?
