I've created and published a 5 email sequence to be sent to an existing contact list in my account. All I want to do is schedule them accordingly and make sure the first email goes to the right list. I get stuck with Automation, Forms, and Workflows as it seems Hubspot doesn't make this process easy. Am I missing something? This is also my first attempt at this.
You mentioned email sequences, but I assume you created marketing emails. I just want to clarify as sequences and marketing emails are two different things in HubSpot, to ensure we are talking about the same thing.
What exactly are you trying to do with the workflow?
I can see you have marked your post as "Starter". Are you aware that the workflow tool is only available with Professional and Enterprise subscriptions?
To better understand workflows and how to use them I would recommend this article. If you are generally stuck at the "how to do xyz in HubSpot" and trying to get a better understanding of the features available, I would always recommend putting your question into Google, adding the "HubSpot" to the search query and I can guarantee there will be a series of HubSpot Knowledge Base articles on the topic.

Thanks Frank. I'm trying to create a marketing drip campaign. Specifically, 5 emails sent over 3 weeks to an existing email list. It sounds like the reason it's not intuitive is that I can't even do this with a Starter account?

Hi @RCarey1 That is correct, with a free account you don't have access to the full automation functionality in HubSpot. Once you have the appropriate subscription, you can easily setup drip campaigns.

Thanks to both of you. Just to clarify, I am paying for Marketing Hub Starter on my account. Do I need to upgrade to Marketing Professional to create drip campaigns?
