Form Conversion Rate Higher than 100%

SOLVE

Could anyone help with determining how/why the conversion rate on a form would be higher than 100%?

For example: 10 views/15 submissions

Are the extra submissions in this example unknown/uncookied prospects that Hubspot doesn't know about somehow?

Hey @mohall HubSpot uses a tracking script and cookies to track views on web pages and forms, so if the visitor has their tracking cookies blocked or did not consent to them they would not register as a page view, they could still submit the form with their information however which will track a submission, but not a view.

If you check through your submissions individually through forms > Form title > view submissions and clicking on each individual contact you should see some with a warning on them that they did not have a tracking cookie or that their views were filtered. This would be why you're seeing submissions tracked but not views on some records!

Tom, thank you--makes perfect sense. Where in the contact record would that warning appear?

Hey @mohall this would be under the individual submissions within the forms submissions tool! https://knowledge.hubspot.com/forms/analyze-form-submissions-data#individual-submissions
