I would like to send a notification and create a task based on the deal getting through that approval process (so the 2 approver approved the document in the process).
Pending Approval -> Approver #1 and #2 both approved -> send notification and create a task
However I don't see any workflow options for this.
Ideally I wouldn't want to insert an extra Deal Stage just to get a notification and a task created.
I'm not aware of there being any properties that would document specifically the approval status of a deal, unfortunately. The best option is probably to use the movement of the deal to whatever is the next stage for a notification / task. This would work especially well if approvers move the deal along directly after approving. You wouldn't need an additional stage, simply enrolling based on the next one would be sufficient.

The way the deal process works (or will work when I put the new process live) is, a document needs to be approved by 2 people as part of the approval process and the next Deal Stage is supposed to be about this Document was submitted to the prospect.
Meaning that if I trigger the notification and task to submit the document on the deal stage "Proposal Submitted" then it can give a false impression to people viewing the deals.
But having an inbetween Stage that is just solely about sending one document over and pushing to the next stage feel pointless to me. That's why I thought we could just have it somehow in the approval process, when it's approved tell the sales guys to send the document and then progress to the next Stage.
I guess if nothing else I will suggest it to the Ideas if nothing else 🙂
@BalintSipos I understand that different – but without a dedicated property, it's either using the current next stage or a new one, unfortunately. Or a manual step by the approver, such as manually updating a custom approval status property that could trigger a workflow.
