Creating workflow for when new contact is created

I'm creating a workflow, where every time a NEW contact is created it sends an INTERNAL email to one team member. I know this will probably send hundreds of emails per week, but we want to track these contacts and their information every time a new one is inputted.


I've been playing around with workflows, but can't find an option to send an INTERNAL email to the team. Is there a way to do this?

Hi @ABhatt3,

 

The workflow action your looking for is "Send internal email notification":

The workflow would trigger when "Create date is known", only enroll contacts that meet the trigger after the workflow is turned on.

Thank you! So would I have to create an Automation sequence first not a workflow? I'm not sure where to find that "Send Internal email notification" image you've sent

@ABhatt3 when you create a workflow and click the + sign below the enrollment box, the left sidebar should open and that's where you should find it.

@JeanLLM "Create date is known" will work. If you only want to enroll new contacts, consider limiting it to "Create date is less than 1 day ago".
