Create workflow to add contact's company to deal

resolver

We discovered that a lot of deals do not have a contact's company associated with the deal.

Given the number of deals, is there a workflow setup that could associate a company to a deal based on the contact already associated with the deal?

@MMDC  - Great question! You would need Operations Hub to create the association.  Standard workflows do not have this functionality.

You could also look at an outside tool like Zapier or Integromat to accomplish this.

Hi @MMDC,

Without custom code, it's not possible to associate objects via workflow at this stage. It's a feature that other users have asked for before and you could upvote and comment with your use case on the HubSpot Ideas post. The product team is keeping an eye on these requests and evaluating them by popularity.

With HubSpot Operations Hub Professional, you can use custom code actions in workflows which require a bit of development but could achieve this.

Best regards!

Hi @MMDC ,

Unfortunately no. You cannot associate company to a deal on the basis of associated contact as there isn't any such action available yet in the workflows.

Hope this helps!
