Create segment or report with companies who do not have a contact in a specific role

I need to update our list so we have contacts on file who are all in a certain role for all our companies, and to do that I need to know which companies are missing those contacts. 

How can I get a list of all the companies where there are no contacts associated with the company who are in the "Payroll" Role Type?

Hi @slapshot,

This is most easily achieved with two segments:

• Segment 1: Companies associated with contacts that have the specified role type
• Segment 2: Companies that are not a member of segment 1

Segment 2 is the one you're looking for.
