Is it possible to make hubspot create a deal or even just a task to follow up when sending an email from outlook?
I track emails using the hubspot extension. I am trying to set up a workflow that recognises that I have sent an email that contains a certain phrase or keyword, which would then ideally create a deal and add it to a pipeline, but at the least set up a task.
Is this possible? I've had a look at some of the triggers but can't seem to get anything to stick?
@JHaselden if you create a workflow with the trigger Activity > email subject (or email body) contains any of "your phrase" you can then creat e atask or ever create a record (like a Deal).
Is that what you're looking for?

If we wanted to do this outside of a workflow or sequence, could we have the checkbox below added in Outlook or Outlook 365? I do not want a task for every single e-mail I send, just the ability to add a task, when/where needed. Like we do when e-mailing within HS. Because we use Outlook to receive e-mails and moany if not all replies go out of there this is a feature that I would love to see! (it probably is already there and I cannot seem to find it!)
I have the tracking tools in the HS plug-in but the create task option is hiding from me if it is there!
@CDriesler Sort of, I believe. I don't have that option in my Gmail, xactly as you showed. However, in the HubSpot tool bar of the email, there is this:
So you should be able to make a simple task there I believe.
