Can you create a task to see what emails are sending when?
SOLVE
We use workflows to send emails to our customers throughout their program with us which is usually 20 weeks long and they get around 4 check in emails throughout that time.
The sales team would like to be able to go into a contact and see which emails are waiting to be sent and when.
Can this be done by adding a task before each email showing the name of it and what day it will send? Any other ways?
If tasks are acceptable, then yes, this would be a smart approach. I would however not create the task before each email action in the workflow - that would mean users could only see the scheduled email (task) shortly before the fact. I'd create all tasks right after enrolling into the workflow, scheduling them for the date that corresponds to the send date of the email. That way they'll show up the moment the contact enters the workflow and it's visible when each email will go out.
I'm not aware of any alternatives.
Best regards!

Thank you for your input!
For creating the tasks at the beginning of the workflow, we have a time delay of 28 days for example between an email. Is there a way to show the date by saying, 'for this task add 28 days to the trigger date'?
EDIT: I see that you can easily adjust the time delays, but my question now is how to check off tasks after the email gets sent

@nvawh in the "Create task" workflow action, you can specify the the due date to be 28 days from now (or rather the time when the action is executed). That way the task would show on the date of the email send. For all following tasks, you'd have to add up the delays.
