I'm trying to figure out how to create a workflow/automation that will send a Sign-up email every time someone signs up for our website. I do not want to send these emails to leads that are manually added to our lead's list (since they didn't sign up it would be weird if they received a sign up email).
I've created the email, and now I'm at the workflow part, but I'm very confused on attempting to make this work. It should also be noted that I only want this email to be sent out once, and only when people are automately put into our system (in other words, when they're manual inputs). Is this possible?
NOTE: if it's not possible, I believe that leads that are automatically put into our system (from sign-ups) are labeled with the lead type "new". Don't know if this is at all helpful, but I thought I would add it.
If these contacts get the unique lead type 'New' (and these contacts only) you can use this as an enrollment trigger in a contact-based workflow.
Select 'When filter criteria is met' and find lead type under 'Contact properties', then specify that contacts should enroll when lead type is equal to any of new.
You can then add an automated email after that.
It looks like you're on a Starter subscription; this type of automation requires a Marketing Hub Professional subscription.
Best regards!
