update property after form submission

Have created a form, but I don't see anywhere to automatically add properties to the contact upon submission.

For example, everyone who fills out this form has XYZ property added as ABC. The user does not need to choose this as this is internal/business coding and not pertinent from the user's perspective.

I also looked at workflow, and it shows only creating a contact or company but not updating a property.

Hi @JQuick0,

This would indeed be done with a workflow, specificall the 'Edit record' workflow action.

  1. Enroll the contact based on 'When filter criteria is met' > 'Form submission' > specify your form
  2. Consider enabling re-enrollment based on the form submission
  3. Use the 'Edit record' workflow action to update the properties you'd like to update

Best rest regards!

So obviously, the options that are presented under workflow in the Automation section of forms is different from what you get when you go directly to the system-wide workflow section

In the first, there is no way to edit a record. But if I create a workflow outside of the form settings, I do see it. This is fairly confusing. Would be great if automations section of forms replicated the same options as workflows in general or if there were a note that that section allows only limited functionality.

Thanks, but as I said, there's no place in workflow to update a property (edit record). Please see attached for the options I'm presented with:
