Zoom recurring webinar management

Hello!
We're moving from Demio to Zoom for webinar management. We have recurring webinars (every other week), and unfortunately, Zoom sets up one parent Marketing Event and doesn't sync over the date of the webinar they've signed up for.

Zoom's solutions included:
1. Create separate webinars
2. Use Zapier to push the registered date over to a Hubspotcontact (cool, but what if they sign up for multiples and I want more then just the "last" webinar they attended?)
3. Zoom API scripts
4. Manual uploads (doesn't really solve it...)

We're currently using Zoom's registration link (has a pull down for the webinar dates that the marketing team likes).

Has anybody dealt with this? Aside from setting up separate webinars or building a custom object, I'm not sure how to manage this...

Any advice would be appreciated! If I could go back in time, my advice would be "stay with Demio". 😬

Hey @KateG1 !

We hear this a lot with people moving to Zoom for their webinars and virtual events. Unfortunately the marketing events object isn't going to take care of your recurring webinars, especially as you look to track to see people that have attended multiple occurrences of these webinars.

Our app hapily natively integrates with Zoom and handles this via our hapily events custom object. Yes you are correct and are thinking a custom object is necessary to handle this, but we have all this out of the box.

For each Zoom webinar occurrence we create a new hapily event that allows you to track attendance as well as attribute future Deals to the webinar automatically with our workflow action. When you create your event in our event builder you then select to add a Zoom meeting and webinar, and we take care of everything inside of Hubspot for you, bringing over the meeting and join links, add to calendar links, etc.

This also allows you to report on the success of the webinars as a series!

You can use your HubSpot forms for registration as well. Here's a Youtube video that walks through it so that you can get an idea if this is right for you, or if you'd like to replicate this process with a custom object on your own!

Thank you! I'll reach out to get something scheduled. I'll be interested to hear about using the entire platform vs the zoom sync. We plan on staying with Zoom webinars, so we won't need the full suite.
