Webpage Tracking Issue

SOLVE

Hi

Please can anyone help with the following:

I need to track visits by contacts that are currently in our HubSpot (Professional) database when they open webpages on our website. I have installed the HubSpot Plugin into our Wordpress/Avada website, which according to the info installs the tracking code, no coding needed.

I want to check that it’s all ready for tracking visits… But although:

1) I have the right WordPress and PHP versions,

2) I have a green light for “Connected to HubSpot”, in 'HubSpot settings/ Account', and

3) I see the “5324629.js” on each webpage page source.

… when I test/validate the connection on the “Reports & Analytics Tracking” page in HubSpot using our homepage URL, it fails and I get the following message

Validation failed

  • HubSpot tracking code not found on page
  • Detected Gravity Forms WordPress plugin - may cause compatibility issues with HubSpot forms.
  • Detected CookieYes cookie consent banner.

FYI:

We do use Formidable Forms, and we won’t be changing this

We do have CookieYes installed.

Thank you very much for any help in this.

Best

Steve

Hi there @SBodie and thanks for the tag @chighsmith !

CookieYes is probably interfering with the functioning of your HubSpot tracking code.  To overcome this, you can either:

The warning about your forms plugin shouldn't impact your ability to use the tracking code, only your ability to directly embed HubSpot forms using the plugin.

Hope this helps!

Hi @SBodie,

Thank you for posting to the Community!

I'd like to tag in some of our Community Champions familiar with the WordPress plugin to see if they have any suggestions!

Hi @Jake_Lett @tjoyce and @trevordjones Happy Pre-Friday! Do any of you have any tips for @SBodie on the above?
