Webflow Form Mapped to Hubspot: Cannot select a field

I have built out a form on our Webflow site and a matching form in Hubspot.

Within Webflow, I click on the Hubspot integration and select "Map webflow form to existing hubspot form".

I cannot, for the life of me, get it to let me select a form field? I have clicked on everything, but it does stays looking like this screenshot.

Does anyone know how to get that to work?

Webflow Form Mapped to Hubspot: Cannot select a field

Hi - thanks! There is only one field on the form, it is a newsletter signup form in the footer of our website. I believe the form field is labeled, see the screenshot where it is labeled "Email". Screenshot 2024-03-03 at 2.37.59 PM.png

Webflow Form Mapped to Hubspot: Cannot select a field

Hey! This isn't the label that the Webflow documentation is referring to. The documentation is referring to the HTML element Label, which you have to add to the Webflow form. Please see in the screenshot where you can find the "Label" element. Once you add this to the form, make sure that the "Name" on the email field and the "Text" field in the Label element are the same.

After doing this, you should be able to successfully connect the Hubspot form.

If this doesn't work, can you share a read-only Webflow URL so I can further troubleshoot?

Webflow Form Mapped to Hubspot: Cannot select a field

Hello!

This is a common issue with the Webflow <> Hubspot Forms integration. The most common cause of the issue has to do with the form's labels.

Do all of your form fields have labels? Per the Webflow documentation on the Hubspot integration, all of the form fields on the form in Webflow must have labels in order to work properly. If not, the integration won't work correctly and you will not be able to map the form fields.

As a reference, you can create a new "Form Block" element in Webflow (which comes pre-filled with example fields and labels) and try to map that one. If it works, you can follow that example and replicate it on your own form.

Alternatively, you can embed your Hubspot form directly onto Webflow by choosing "Add existing HubSpot form to your page" in the Hubspot integration.

Hope this helps!
