Two integrations, Contact form 7 and Hubspot. Differences, pros and cons between
SOLVE
Hello,
There are two ways to integrate contact form 7 and hubspot.
One is made by Hubspot for general use with various wordpress forms (including Contact Form 7)and operates automagically: https://wordpress.org/plugins/leadin/
The other is made by CRM Perks and integrates Contact form 7 wordpress plugin with Hubspot - which requires manual field mapping in the wordpress plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/cf7-hubspot/
Please tell me what are pros, cons and usecases of both?
So, the HubSpot plugin just installs the tracking code which let's you capture "Non-HubSpot" forms. Ideally, you'd have as few of these as possible for a few reasons.
Non-HubSpot forms don't track views to conversion ratios
Non-HubSpot forms have to have their labels exactly match the property name or the data is not recorded in HubSpot.
Non-HubSpot forms can create duplicates of themselves as you make changes to the site, For instance, if you make a site change that changes the id or CSS classes on a form, you could wind up with multiple "Contact Us" forms.
If you have the CF7 plugin, you're solving for items #2 and #3, but you won't get #1.
