Spamming our forms

We recently created a landing page to sign up to one of our webinars.

The form submissions sync with our Go-To -Webinar account and  create a sign up there out of the form submission.

Once we did this connection we had an attack of bots that sent 10,000 submission to the go to webinar which we did not see in the LP submissions. Our thought is that it has something to do with the connection between the forms.

Has anyone had this happen to them? Are there any best practices to avoid this?

Sorry to hear about the spam submissions it can be incredibly frustrating and annoying when that happens. One of the best ways to prevent this is to enable a captcha on the form itself as outlined here:


You could also consider blocking specific domains from submitting the form as outlined here:
