Currently, this isn't possible in HubSpot, and I wasn't able to find anything you could append to the URL to open it in a new tab. My guess is this is because it could lead to a confusing UX. I'd love to know your use case for why you want the thank you page to open in a new tab, instead of redirecting the form - would you mind sharing?
This is SO necessary. Right now my pop up let's them download a PDF which opens in the same page. They never get to my site!! This is such a basic and best practices thing for a website interaction. It is needed. We are losing traffic!

Of course! I think I did not explain myself properly. I don't want the thank you page to open in a new tab, I want the document to open in a new tab.
We are using a form embeded on a pop-up and once the form is submitted, it redirects to the material that needs to be downloaded.
In order to do this, the only way is to redirect the form to an external link (with the option I shared in the screenshot).
Sadly this link opens in the same navigation tab, so we lose people from the main page navigation.
As a side note, this is a form embeded not in a hubspot landing page or website page, but in a different system page, and as it's a popup, the UX has been defined so that the visitor gets direct access to the pdf right after for submission.
I hope this helps to understand the situation a bit better.
@MFernandez_VM -- thanks for explaining, that helps a lot!
In that case, my suggestion would be: instead of adding a button and redirecting to a non-HubSpot URL you could instead include a link to the document in the thank you message. When you add a link to the message, you have the option of choosing to have to url open in another tab. (See below).
Hope that helps!

Sorry, I shall have explained, it's not a pop-up form from hubspot, it is in an external site. So the hubspot form is embedded. And as mentioned, after the submission we don't have a thank you message, it shall redirect to the pdf.
