Redirect after form completion

We offer an online service that requires user regstration which means that we have a custom database that stores key data. I'm looking for the easiest option to capture data in Hubspot at the same time that it goes into our user DB. I know that we can integrate the data on the back end but I was hoping for an easier solution in the short term.

I think the ideal solution would be to use a Hubspot Form that redirects the user to a URL on our service that contains the necessary contact data that was entered into the form.  This would add the data to Hubspot and allow us to pull the user data from the URL.  Is this possible? (I was able to do this by adding a "personalized" URL to a followup email but this loses a lot of people that don't get the email or if the message goes to their spam folder, etc)

Does anyone have another solution to this issue? Is there a third party solution that does this out-of-the-box?  Open to ideas.

Hi @PeterS72,

In this type of scenario, HubSpot is usually not used as a registration form. It's original purpose is to capture information required for marketing and sales, not a registration process. For example, HubSpot does not accept sensitive information in form fields like passwords.

Another option would be using a third-party form for the registration and using the HubSpot API to log the form submission in HubSpot in parallel: https://legacydocs.hubspot.com/docs/methods/forms/submit_form
