Properties not automatically updating on new form builder

We recently built a form on the new form builder that we use daily. One of the fields on the form is connected to a property in HubSpot that we need to change/update regularily. I recently added an option to the connected property and discovered that the newly added option does not automatically appear in the form field. I submitted a help desk ticket and was told that I need to manually go into the form field and choose "+ Add option" and the additional options will be available for me to add to my form. This doesn't make sense - why wouldn't it just automatically update like it always has? This seems like an oversight or a bug.

Hi @AFrederick3,

There are downsides and upsides to this new behavior. The previous behavior, for example, blocked using properties for multiple forms that were not supposed to show all options but only a selection. Adding a value always meant having to check all forms where it was not supposed to show up.

I agree however that users should have more control and the best option, in my opinion, would simply be a pop-up, asking whether a newly added option should be added to all forms or not – similar to list changes prompting a pop up asking the user how this change should affect workflows referencing the lists.
