Progressieve field for opt-in
SOLVE
In many instances, you can establish a logic wherein form fields are replaced with progressive fields if they've been submitted previously. However, this doesn't apply to the opt-in consent field.
I'm seeking a method to display the newsletter opt-in in forms exclusively to those who haven't subscribed yet, as I aim to keep the form as concise as possible.
Do you have any suggestions on how to achieve this?
You would have to create a single checkbox property for this - and use a contact-based workflow to maintain this property. (This means that this would require a Professional subscription.)
One workflow would have to look at the subscription status and, if it's an opt-in, also set the checkbox property.
A second workflow would look at the checkbox property and use the "Manage communication subscriptions" workflow action to update the opt-status.
That would be the only way to use consent with a progressive logic - with a single checkbox property as a proxy. The actual consent checkboxes cannot be made progressive.
Best regards!
