Pop-up CTAs trigger not working correctly

Hi!

 

I started using the CTAs tool (the Beta, not the Legacy). And it seemed to be working fine but some colleagues told me it's showing several times when the settings are:

- Trigger after exit intent

- Show again: after two weeks (and it's been 1 week since I crated the pop-up)

 

Is this happening to someone else? How can I solve it?

Were you ever able to resolve your issue? This is happening to us as well. I reported to Hubspot, but they were not able to re-create. This seems to happen with select users only and they are not in an incognito window. They took a screen-recording and the pop-up is showing repeatedly during the same visit.

Hi @AnCabanSeq ,

 

A couple of things you could look into/troubleshoot are:

 

  • Do you have multiple popup CTAs enabled right now? If so, there's a chance your colleagues are seeing different CTAs but assuming they're all the same.
  • Have they been viewing the site in an incognito browser? Or have they cleared their cache recently? Both those actions could cause someone to see the CTA multiple times.

 

If you've checked both of the items above and are able to reproduce the issue yourself, I'd suggest reaching out to HubSpot Support for further help troubleshooting as there may be some sort of bug with the beta.

Hi!

 

- We don't have multiple pupups CTAs enabled

- No ignognito nor cache cleared recently

 

We'll wait a few days and see if it continues happening. Because it's something that only happened to specific people.
