We currently have a non-Hubspot form on our website that is linked to our Hubspot Account and it seems to be running into intermittent issues with passing data back to our instance upon form submission. The only field on the non-Hubspot form is for Email Address, nothing else.
We had a couple of new subscribers come in this past week that didn't sync to our instance and not sure why. I caught the fact that they didn't sync over because we have auto responders sent out to us when someone fills out the non-Hubspot form. It's weird because we have tested this functionality in the past and it worked. It's not a high-volume form, so the issue may have been present from the get-go and we are just now noticing.
I tested some more today and can confirm there are intermittent issues.
Hey @MGhazi, we found that it was an issue with the button not being bound to a form submit action. The form on our site would work when the user inputted data and hit `Enter` on the keyboard but it wasn't working when selecting the button so that's how we figured it out.
Here's the document we referenced. And this is the specific piece that we read that clued us into the issue:
Some common reasons why HubSpot would not be able to capture submissions on forms are:
(Bullet #3) Form has JavaScript bound to the form submit event or submit button click event. This is how the tool captures submissions and any other events, and can prevent HubSpot from knowing when submissions occur.
