No Opt In Mail with Non HUbspot Forms

Hello,

via Zapier we connected the tool Perspective to Hubspot. The user fills out a form to receive a newsletter. The property values are  transferred, but the automatic opt-in mail is not triggered and because of that the contact is not included in the workflow for the newsletter. Can you tell me which trigger I have to pass over Zapier to Hubspot to trigger the Opt In Mail?

Has there been any progress on enabling double opt-in for integrations?

This poses a challenge as not all use cases allow for native forms to be used.

Hello @RebeccaF 

In order to trigger the opt-in email, a form submissions need to occur in HubSpot.

The best solution here is to use the native form functionality which can be set up to send a DOI (double option) email to the contact upon submission.
