Manage Event Registration form by limiting sign ups by time
Résolue
Hey there, I am creating an event registration form and including a drop down property that allows ppl to select a window of time for when they want to attend. I would like to limit sign ups to 15 people per time slot. Is there a way to manage this through the creation of the form, so that signs up are capped at 15? Thanks! For context, this is for a school open house.
HubSpot doesn't have a specific feature for this, unfortunately. For proper availability management, you'd have to integrate a third-party solution that offers this kind of feature.
If you want to do this natively in HubSpot, I'd recommend creating active lists which filter for all contacts that have selected a specific time slot. You would then have to monitor the size of each list and remove time options from the form when you notice that a list has reached 15 contacts.
Best regards!

We just launched a new app called event•hapily that lets you cap registrations for sessions and we have a special form module that tracks session registration capacity and will not let people sign up for the session.
For your use case specifically you would have one event object with session objects for each of the time slots, and then have a listing of those sessions that people can sign up for. We have CMS modules for this that would make it easy for people to hit a page for the event, see all the different sign up times (sessions) and then hit a page for that session to sign up.
The best part is that since we use dynamic pages, you wouldnt have to create separat landing pages for each session. In the background you just have one page for the event listing all the sessions, and one page for the actual landing page for signup.
Here is an example of sessions listed that are both available and full. With the session being full they wouldnt even be able to get to the page.
If they did somehow magically find the page the form would be displaying a rich text module instead of the form saying the session is full.
Anyways, if you want to learn more about our event management on HubSpot app event•hapily check it out here https://event.hapily.com
