I have two older iPads that I plan to use for collecting contact details at an upcoming congress. Unfortunately, HubSpot forms do not display on Safari—they appear blank.
Due to the iPads' outdated iOS versions, I am unable to install new apps or update the operating system. Any ideas that could work on short notice?
Just tested out on ios 6 with safari and I can see these don't load, tbh I can see no javascript seems to load propertly, even JS from outside of HubSpot.
Realistically the only option in that situation would be to collect somewhere else. You could integrate a custom HTML form through the forms api. However, if you're not a developer this might not be a quick option for you.
The only other options I could think of would be to create a google form and then export it then import it into HubSpot. However that may become a bit cumbersome too.
When do you need this setup for? If you need it to be a direct form to HubSpot form setup I'd be happy to put you in touch with a great HubSpot developer.

@JMinke - If it really is short notice, and if Tom's assessment is correct and this is iOS6, it might be cheaper and better to just have someone go out and grab a new iPad off a store shelf. Most are having Black Friday sales and a iPad 9th generation (10 years newer than iOS6) is only $199 or 10th Gen for $299 which should both be more than sufficient for basic form collection.
If it is iOS6 that is about 10 years old and could present other issues as that was TLS 1.0 or maybe 1.1 I would have to check to confirm, but that could also cause Hubspot content not to load if the minimum TLS setting was raised for any reason ( https://knowledge.hubspot.com/domains-and-urls/ssl-and-domain-security-in-hubspot ).
A google form could also work for the short term, or an integration through Zapier/Make with another form host then you could skip the in-between step.

Thanks for the reply! And like I mentioned, everything was quite short notice and I did manage to purchase two tablets through a Dutch online marketplace (€20 each). Zapier did cross my mind, as I had a similar setup a few years ago, but Google Documents worked perfectly. I appreciate your help!
I've used a Mac for years and have never heard that Hubsot forms do not display on Safari. Can you post a link to a form you have that is not displaying? I would be interested to see what's going on.
